What can I say. I loved this dog. We all did. It was so sad losing him.

Sam was never shown. We didn't have that interest at the time. I wish we had.

Sam didn't come from the Stronvar kennel but was sired by Stronvar Silent Warrior. I bought Sam from Christine Laird. (Castlelaird) I still remember taking him home. I asked a friend to drive me through to Casltemilk to get him. A tiny bundle of fluff who grew into a very very laid back rough collie. He understood everything that was said to him. I never ever raised my voice to Sam. I didn't need to.

Sam died aged 13 1/2.
